Elimination Format: The Lancaster Shoot-Up Once qualifications wrap up, the top-seeded archers in each category face off in a fast-paced, head-to-head elimination bracket where every single arrow counts. The Ladder Climb: Elimination matches are played as a step-ladder. The two lowest-ranked finalists step up to the line first. The winner moves up the ladder to face the next highest seed, while the loser is eliminated. 12-Arrow Shootouts: Each match consists of 12 arrows (4 ends of 3 arrows) shot under a strict 2-minute time limit. Highest Score Wins: There are no sets. The archer with the highest cumulative total score out of a possible 132 points wins and advances. The Ultimate Showdown: The survivor who climbs the entire ladder earns the right to face the #1 overall qualifier in the final match for the championship title.
The Finals Format: The Title Showdown The elimination ladder leads to one final, ultimate match to crown the champion in each category. The King of the Hill Match: The lone surviving archer who fought their way through the elimination bracket steps up to face the tournament’s #1 overall seed. 12 Arrows for the Glory: Both finalists go head-to-head, shooting a total of 12 arrows (4 ends of 3 arrows) under the intense pressure of a 2-minute time limit per end. No Safety Nets: Scoring remains cumulative. There are no sets or resets—every single point is added to the running total. The archer with the highest score out of a maximum 132 points wins the championship. Sudden-Death Tie Breaker: If the scores are deadlocked after 12 arrows, it goes to a single-arrow shoot-off. The arrow closest to the absolute center of the target takes the title!
